UK Based Product Designer

Specialising in UX and UI design, I help build user-centric products that make a positive impact.

I'm an experienced and curious product designer who specialises in UX and UI. I create engaging and valuable experiences that make a positive impact on people and business.

I believe design can be a strategic, engaging and inclusive function within any organisation.

Working with developers, PMs, and external and internal stakeholders I deliver design-led projects that align customer needs with business goals. I love working with small, close-knit teams and startups.
Outside of work I'm a passionate eater. I love exploring new countries and cultures through food. I'm a part-time punk and long term Swiftie. My curiosity extends beyond my profession - I love learning about people and new ways of thinking. And despite the world's best attempts, I'm very much an (albeit reluctant) optimist.

Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, such as chronic back pain, arthritis, and repetitive strain injuries, significantly affect individuals’ quality of life and workplace productivity.

People living with MSK conditions often face reduced mobility, increased absence from work, and difficulty performing daily tasks, which can seriously impact quality of life.

Traditional care models rely on periodic in-person visits, making it difficult to track progress or intervene early when symptoms worsen.

Llama is an online platform which acts as a unified source of information and support for people living with MSK conditions, employers and clinicians.

My role involved rapid-prototyping a platform that could quickly and demonstrately deliver value and impact for stakeholders.

My role involved researching, testing and defining the core user journey. I was then able to develop wireframes, hi-res mockups and ultimately build a prototype for enhanced testing and feedback, whilst delivering immediate value to end-users.

Organisations struggle with measuring and improving employee engagement due to outdated annual survey methods that provided delayed, static snapshots rather than actionable insights.

These surveys are also rarely engaging or inspiring for the people providing responses.Engagement measurement tools lacked real-time feedback capabilities, failed to identify engagement trends before they became retention issues, and provided limited visibility into actual team-level dynamics.

HR leaders and managers needed continuous pulse data to make informed decisions about workplace culture, as well as access to training and resources to help make change.

Working closely with an HR and employee wellbeing specialist, as well as end users and partners, we developed a bespoke platform for engaging employees; capturing anonymous feedback; and empowering them to make change within their organisation.

Through rapid prototyping, testing and feedback, I designed an accessible platform and defined a tone and brand identity which encourages trust and honesty.

After engaging with stakeholders and presenting findings and our proposal, I got to work prototyping the platform so that we could test it quickly and react quickly to live feedback.

The end result was a platform that made a positive impact on organisations' NPS score and improved recruitment workflows.

The rapid growth of electric vehicle adoption created a critical gap in the installation ecosystem, where EV owners struggled to find qualified, certified installers for home and commercial charging infrastructure.

Existing solutions were fragmented across multiple platforms, lacked installer verification systems, and provided limited visibility into pricing, availability, and service quality. Installation companies faced challenges in reaching potential customers, while consumers encountered long wait times, inconsistent pricing, and uncertainty about installer credentials and service reliability.
Research indicated that there were numerous uncertainties around having an EV chargepoint installed. As well as providing useful information and guidance, I designed and built a directory platform that connected EV owners with certified chargepoint installers in their local area.

The solution featured a searchable database of verified installation professionals, integrated booking and quote request systems, and transparent pricing and availability information. The platform included installer profile pages with certifications, customer reviews, portfolio galleries, and real-time availability calendars.

This marketplace approach streamlined the discovery process for customers as well as creating sales opportunities and leads for installers.

The existing Argyll and Bute Council website suffered from outdated information architecture, poor mobile responsiveness, and complex navigation that made it difficult for residents to access essential council services online.

Citizens faced frustration when trying to complete basic tasks like paying council tax, reporting issues, or finding local service information, often resorting to time-consuming phone calls or office visits.

The site's legacy design and fragmented content structure created barriers to digital service adoption, while staff struggled with content management workflows that hindered timely information updates across the geographically dispersed region.
Working with a local development agency, the council's incredibly talented in-house team, and stakeholders, I led a comprehensive website redesign that transformed the council's digital presence into a user-centric, service-focused platform.

The solution prioritised citizen journey mapping, streamlined information architecture, and mobile-first responsive design to serve the diverse needs of Argyll and Bute's communities.

The new platform featured intuitive service categorisation, and location-based content delivery to help residents quickly find relevant local information. Enhanced content management capabilities empowered council staff to maintain accurate, up-to-date information across all departments and service areas.

Remote patient monitoring represents one of the biggest opportunities for improving health outcomes at a local and national level.

The industry traditionally faces several challenges, including onboarding, engagement and retention. This is exacerbated when you're as ambitious as Spirit Health, who rolled the product out across several continents, including Asia and Africa, where low connectivity and outdated technology can present a hurdle.

We wanted to create an engaging, and easy-to-use, channel of communication between patients and clinicians. By sharing symptoms and vital sign readings, clinicians can take a proactive and preventative role ensuring better health outcomes.
As part of the senior management team, I collaborated with all departments in the organisation, as well as partners, customers and end-users to define product strategy.

Key responsibilities included defining the gathering feedback from stakeholders and delivering a product roadmap to meet business objectives. I also collaborated with engineering, marketing, sales and customer success to execute both the product roadmap and external communications.

As well advocating internally for a customer user-centric approach to our product strategy, I delivered customer-facing demos and pitches, as well running internal roadmapping and design strategy workshops.
